Barn Hunt

Dogs and their handlers work as a team to locate and mark rats (which are always safely held in aerated tubes) hidden in a maze of straw or hay bales. Courses are made increasingly difficult by adding more obstacles, additional diversions and more rats to find.

Search & Rescue

Search & rescue dogs can mean the difference between life and death, especially during natural disasters, mass casualty events, and when locating missing people.

Diving Dogs

The dog and owner are at the back of a 40 foot dock, which is 12 inches above the water. On the owner's command, the dog runs along the dock and jumps as far as possible into the water.

Some breed clubs have working dog titles and temperate titles.

Flyball

Parent Club Events

A relay race for dogs, each one dashes over a line of low hurdles to reach a box. Once there, the dog uses it paws to push a spring-loaded pad to release a tennis ball into the air. They catch the ball and take it back to their handlers. Once back to the starting line, the next dog takes his turn.
