AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
Any puppy up to one year of age must complete 20 requirements which show Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility.
AKC Trick Dog
Various levels of titles will show the difficulty of tricks that the dog can perform. All dogs can participate.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
The first step in training dogs and provides a great foundation for getting started in dog sports. Some homeowner's insurance companies encourage CGS testing. All dogs can participate.
AKC Therapy Dog
A dog can provide a valuable sense of reassurance, joy, or calmness to people experiencing stressful, lonely or depressing situations or general times in their life. Various titles are earned according to the number of visits to places like nursing homes, classrooms, libraries, assisted living centers, hospices, shelters, and funeral homes.
