MSKC Brochure

In 1939, the Mississippi State Kennel Club, Inc. (MSKC) was established as a non-profit organization by a group of dedicated dog owners and is licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC). On March 13, 1941, MSKC was incorporated by the State of Mississippi with the purpose of furthering the advancement of all purebred dogs.  MSKC's service area covers greater Jackson, Mississippi.

Each year, MSKC offers a scholarship to a second year student from Mississippi enrolled at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Starkville, Mississippi.

Two American Kennel Club championship point shows and obedience trials are held each year in December in conjunction with two Brandon Kennel Club shows at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, Mississippi.  The name of this cluster is the "Magnolia Christmas Classic".
